The Pellicle problem

Pellicle is better than foam for heat, but it is not perfect. In a 28C room with direct sun, the seat front still warms up after two hours. That said, it does not trap moisture like leather.

Size and fit

Size B fits most users between 5'4" and 6'2" and 130–220 lbs. Size C is for taller users. Size A is for petite frames. Ordering the wrong size is the top failure mode.

Warranty

12-year warranty is real. That is three times longer than most office chairs. If the frame or gas lift fails, Herman Miller will replace it.

Verdict

Worth the price if you will keep it for five-plus years. The PostureFit SL option is essential for people with lower-back tightness.
