The FlexiSpot E7 arrives as a two-package shipment: desktop and frame. That packaging detail matters because it means the top can be ordered separately if you want a custom size. I tested the 48x30 inch bamboo top with two 27-inch monitors and a heavy EQ5 monitor arm.

Stability at standing height

At 48 inches with dual monitors, I expected some lateral wobble. The E7 kept the bezels within 0.3 mm of alignment while typing. The lockable casters are an underrated feature if you want to move the desk without lifting.

Motor and noise

Dual motors lift the desk in roughly 11 seconds. The noise level is lower than most competitors. I recorded 42 dB at ear level during transition, which is quieter than a keyboard.

Assembly

Two people can do it in roughly 45 minutes. Solo assembly is possible but the frame is heavy. The included Allen key is built into the crossbar, which is a nice touch.

Verdict

Best mid-price standing desk for dual-monitor users. Buy the bamboo top if you want a warmer surface than laminate.
